There was a time when I felt tired and foggy, often experienced discomfort after meals, and carried around extra pounds that hindered my effectiveness and my energy levels for paddling. Then I found Ayurveda, the 5000 year old sister science to yoga. My body, mind and life were so transformed that I decided to enroll in a year-long program and become a certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor.
Following Ayurveda diet and lifestyle strategies has helped me feel stronger, enjoy consistent energy all day, digest meals more effectively and drop weight that wasn’t serving me. My mental state is clear and I feel joyful. In fact, I feel like I’m in the best shape, and more confident than ever in my early forties. Ayurveda helps me thrive on a daily basis and it can help you do the same!

There is more to health than being an outdoor enthusiast. Yes, getting outside is one of the best things you can do for your wellbeing, yet it is only one piece of a larger puzzle. Paddling can be awesome for the body and mind and it can also cause the body discomfort, pain and an increased risk of injury.
Did you know that we spend close to $100 billion in the US on back pain relief (trying to get it). What is most shocking about this number is that most, if not all back pain is avoidable! Anna’s alignment based approach to yoga will help you strengthen the muscles that we underuse in paddling and lengthen the muscles that we over-use, bringing balance back to the body and reducing pain and discomfort caused by paddling.
