Stand Up Paddleboarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Join the fun, strengthen your mind body paddle connection and experience what it feels like to walk on water! Our SUP Yoga classes are a fun, adventurous way to get outside, move, stretch, strengthen and relax. Our SUP skills classes introduce you to paddling technique and build your confidence on the board.

SUP Yoga Class Schedule

SUP Yoga is unique and fun!  Enjoy a challenging, rejuvenating and relaxing outdoor yoga class on the beautiful French Broad River (flat section).  Yoga on a SUP enhances your practice by strengthening IMG_3912alignment, core awareness and balance.  Did we mention that it’s really fun too and relaxation pose floating on the water with the breeze blowing over your skin feels pretty amazing! This class is beneficial for the experienced yogi as well as people new to yoga. No previous yoga or SUP experience is necessary as we guide you through the balancing and paddling basics at the beginning of class.  Come join us and see why SUP Yoga is quickly growing in popularity! Anna Levesque is an 500 ERYT, an ACA certified SUP Instructor Trainer and an ACA certified SUP Yoga Endorser with over 20 years of paddling and yoga experience.

Cost: $50.00/person minimum of 3 people. Includes board, leash, paddle, anchor system, SUP and Yoga instruction. Gather your friends and contact us to schedule your custom class!

If you have your own board, paddle, leash and PFD the class cost is $25.00/person.

SUP Skills Classes and Tours  

We offer SUP skills classes and private lessons from beginner to intermediate levels on Lake Julian and on the French Broad River. Learn the basics or refine your technique so that you get the most out of your paddling experience.

Schedule

SUP 101: June 24 | Lake Julian | 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Cost

Group of 2 or more people $75/person for 2 hour lesson on the French Broad River. Includes board, paddle, PFD and leash. $55/person for those who have their own board, paddle and gear). Please email or call to schedule/check availability.

For Lake Julian group of 2 or more people $80/person for a 2 hour lesson. Includes $5 launch fee, board, paddle, PFD and leash. $55/person for those who have their own board, paddle and gear – you must also cover your own $5 launch fee). Please email or call to schedule/check availability.

Private Instruction $125/hour, includes board, paddle, leash and PFD ($100/hour for people who have their own board, paddle and gear). Please email or call for availability.

Cost includes board, paddle, leash, PFD and instruction. All of our instructors are certified by the American Canoe Association.

Cancellation Policy:  A minimum of 50% deposit is required to book your spot. The balance is due the day of the class. If you cancel 15 + days before the class your deposit is refundable minus a $25 booking fee. If you cancel within 14 days of the class your deposit is non-refundable and can be put toward another class.
