Womens Paddlefest

The Ladies Southeast Paddling Series is now condensed to one Women’s Paddlefest Weekend hosted at the NOC! Save the date: May 31 – June 2, 2019!

This festival is all about creating community by connecting, sharing, paddling and supporting each other on the river! It’s based at the Nantahala Outdoor Center offering trips on different rivers representing a range of skill levels and is open to all women in all water craft!

Donations and registration benefit the Shannon Christy Memorial Fund, an organization that supports women’s empowerment non-profits. The SCMF will also benefit the Live Like Maria Fund. Laura Farrell of the Green River Takeover and I are combining efforts this year between both funds.

Age Limit?

We’d love to have as many ladies and their mamas and little ladies join us for snacks and the raffle at the end! Due to the awesomely large turnout of ladies on the water, we ask that children be at least 12 years of age to participate, competent swimmers and accompanied by an adult guardian.
