Canoe & Kayak Magazine features Girls at Play Mexico!

The latest issue of Canoe & Kayak Magazine features an awesome article by Kate Stepan, who experienced the Intermediate Mexico kayaking trip first-hand. Stepan entered the trip with preconceived notions about women only instruction, and left with more confidence and inspired by Anna and the other women on her trip. Kate, a Class V boater, discovered new challenges and delights on the river and found herself letting go of frustrations she has with kayaking that have left her feeling like she has to be “running the gnar” to be a good boater. Anna teaches her that she can make decisions for herself based on what is best for her, not what is best for others.

It is a great read! Pick up a copy the magazine to read in full! Thanks to Kate and Canoe & Kayak Magazine for sharing this article about her Mexican experience. And thanks also to Paul Villecourt who illustrates the trip with his stunning photographs.

Doesn’t this make you want to come to Mexico with us!?!  Sign up today for world class kayaking and yoga instruction, beautiful scenery, and the confidence booster of a lifetime!
