Watershed Drybags: our newest sponsor!

Watershed Drybags: our newest sponsor!

We are proud to announce that Watershed Drybags is our newest sponsor. We are grateful for their support during our summer tour, as we will be using our Watershed bags daily! They are outstanding pieces of gear. Their airtight sealing system is by far the best available to keep all contents dry and protected. We are using the Ocoee and Chattooga bags on the water which fit great in our boats with their sleek shape and style. Off of the river we are very excited to be using their newest “Mesh Tramp” line of bags. These bags are made of trampoline material so their fine weaving holds our gear securely while draining the water out and allowing our kayaking gear to breathe, so it doesn’t get too stinky.

We are grateful for the support from Watershed, our other sponsors and all of you who believe in Girls at Play. We look forward to seeing you on the river!

About Girls at Play
Girls at Play was founded in 2004 by Anna Levesque, world-class paddler and instructor. Girls at Play is dedicated to inspiring, empowering and enhancing women’s lives through kayaking and yoga retreats, classes and trips. Girls at Play workshops, instructional tools and accessories provide an environment where kayaking feels accessible, fun, inspiring, adventurous and supportive.

About the Girls at Play Summer Tour
The Girls at Play Summer Tour is a grass roots, community-building program developed to inspire and connect women paddlers around the U.S. It has been running and successful since 2004. We travel to 13 different outfitter shops across the country and teach two one-day kayak clinics with 15 to 30 participants that range between the ages of 14 to 65! The clinics are sampler style and are designed to get women outside, trying something new or improving their skills, and meeting new friends. We teach to all paddling skill levels from recreational flatwater to intermediate whitewater. During our clinics we create a safe, friendly, and fun atmosphere so that the women can enjoy the instruction, the river and each other.

To paddle with us next summer, check back in with our Summer Tour info!  Or if you can’t wait that long to paddle with us, check out our clinics in North Carolina, wilderness adventures in Idaho and tropical getaways in Mexico!
