Yoga

“Anna’s teaching style is lovely, clear, nurturing and easy to follow.  Her students are blessed to receive such comprehensive yoga teaching, from the physical, mental and spiritual levels.”Stephanie Keach, E-RYT 500 and Director of the Asheville Yoga Center.

Yoga and paddling are more complimentary than you may think.  Both teach us to go with and harness the flow, yoga the flow of the breath and paddling the flow of the water.  Both teach us to pay attention to the present moment and both teach us to look where we want to go.  In addition to these life-affirming teachings, yoga and paddling go well together for physical health, wellbeing and alignment.  Our kayaking with yoga and  yoga for kayaking  programs help you strengthen, align, stretch and balance your body to help you reduce injury and even pain.

“Anna did a great job selecting poses that were necessary for paddlers and for generally active people. Besides being relaxing and enjoyable, each class was educational and informative. Anna is a really great instructor, she is easy to understand and follow and she is sweet and attentive to all the participants. I highly recommend this class to anyone who feels they should treat their body better.” — Yonton Mehler, Astral Buoyancy, Asheville, NC
